Changing lives through the power of God's Word

Welcome to Ev Free Weekend Children’s Ministry!

Successful ministry is the shared responsibility of children, ministry staff, parents, and the church body. In EV Free Children's Ministry, our passion is for every child to deepen their soul, build relationships, and join the mission.

We are committed to:
  • Providing a safe place for children
  • Providing relevant, engaging teaching
  • Having fun be an active part of our activities
  • Building relationships with parents, staff and the Church.

Security

At EV Free, the safety of your child is a high priority.  When you enter Kidzville you will be greeted by our Welcome Team. They are there to assist you, guide you and answer any questions you might have about our children’s ministries. When you check-in your child, you will be provided with a name tag for your child and a corresponding pick-up tag. When you return after the service, present the pick-up tag to the teacher. Check-in begins 15 minutes before services begin.

All our teachers have been through an application process. This process includes an extensive application, reference checks, a background check and an interview.

Do you have a child with special needs?

At EV Free we strive to accommodate children and families with children who have special needs. We have adult volunteers who assist children in a classroom with their peers on Sundays. Buddy Break, a respite care program, is a fun morning out once a month hosted at EV Free. For more information on how to volunteer for one of these great opportunities or how to get your family enrolled, please contact Rhonda Cattley rhonda@evfree.net

Why Parents Matter

To be sure, EV Free provides a tremendous ministry for children, blessed by volunteers and a loving staff, creative and fun programs—all with a heart for helping children know and love Jesus. But the most important influencers in a child’s life are his/her parents, followed by siblings, along with peers, schools and mentors. The Church’s level of influence actually comes in third—similar to that of a counselor or extended family member. Therefore, we recognize that no matter how great of a weekend program we have at EV Free, it can never substitute for the teaching and influence of a parent in the lfe of their kids.
