Changing lives through the power of God's Word

Persecution

Most of us think of "persecution" as a thing of the past -- like what the Romans did to the Christians.
In truth, more Christians are suffering and dying for their faith today than at any time in human history.

"Incredibly, more than 200 million people in over 60 nations are being denied their basic human rights for one reason only: they are Christians." - Rev. Johan Candelin, Director of the Religious Liberty Commission, World Evangelical Fellowship.

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." - John 15:18-19

"Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions." - Hebrews 10:33-34
