Meet Rhonda Cattley, Director of Disability Ministries

 

 

 

A. when we moved here from NC in '99. we had a 13 yr. old son and were looking for a church with good Bible teaching and a strong youth group for our son.

 

Q. what is your favorite part of being a part of the disability ministry?

A. seeing kids with special needs being included and accepted by their peers in Kidzville. recently a group of 1^st graders gathered around their classmate's wheelchair and did a puppet show for him with the puppets they made during craft time. my heart was blessed to be able to witness this special moment.

 

Q. what inspires you?

A. the parents of children with special needs. they love and care for their children and have accepted God's unexpected plan for their lives. they are my heroes!

 

Q. what has God shown you lately that has surprised you?

A. that He can do mighty things through us, if we step aside!
